Beth is the "mastermind" behind the Child Care Choices concept. Her prior experience is in the childcare industry and education field. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University in elementary and early childhood education. Beth has had extensive training in all aspects of childcare through workshops and practical experience.
She has been employed as a mentor since January 1998 through the YMCA Family Daycare Network. Under this program, she assists low-income families in the certification, set-up and training of home-based daycare.
Beth owned a certified family daycare from February 1997 to September 1999 and taught grades pre-kindergarten through 7th grade for the School District of Philadelphia from June of 1990 to December 1996. In her late teenage years, she was employed as a full-time live-out nanny.
In addition to running her own business, Beth enjoys spending her free time with her husband Gerry and two children, currently ages four and two.
