Debbie Heider, Franchise Owner - Butler, Warren Counties, Ohio

Debbie Heider has worked in the childcare and education field for over 12 years.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University in 1992.  After graduating, she taught kindergarten for three years in Columbus, Ohio and Greenville, South Carolina.  After her first child was born, Debbie took time off to stay at home with her daughter and worked part-time providing private tutoring for children of all ages.  After moving to the Cincinnati area, Debbie worked in a childcare center as both a teacher and director.  Throughout high school and college, she worked as a nanny and in a childcare center. 

Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie, who is an insurance underwriter, and is kept busy keeping up with her two children, Katey age 7, and Andy age 3 .  In her spare time, Debbie enjoys reading, traveling, and playing with her children.

Diana Cunningham, Franchise Owner - Butler, Warren Counties, Ohio

Diana Cunningham received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University.  She worked for the Wood County Department of Human Services as a Family Service and Adult Protective Service worker.  She relocated to Cincinnati 5 years ago and worked in the private sector as an eligibility specialist for public assistance programs.  She has been in the childcare field for 5 years both in a daycare facility setting and as an in-home provider.

Diana is married to Ed Cunningham, a branch manager for Towne Bank.  They have two children, Hannah who is active in gymnastics and Joe, an on-the-go toddler who likes balls and trains.  When not working, she enjoys reading, crafts, walks and outings with her family to area museums and parks.   

Debbie and Diana started an in-home day care in October of 1998.  After 2 years, they both decided they were ready to take on a new venture.  Knowing they wanted to stay in the childcare field and realizing how difficult and time consuming finding quality childcare is for parents, they decided to purchase a Child Care Choices franchise.  Diana and Debbie enjoy the flexibility that owing their own business provides, as well as the knowledge they are providing a much needed service for their community.
